This policy applies to Sol Holistic Healing, LLC, operated by Lisa Maze in Chelsea, Michigan. It covers information collected through this website (solhealthcoach.co), through our booking and payment systems, and during in-person sessions at our practice.

What We Collect

From the website. When you fill out a contact form, request information, or sign up for any communications, we collect what you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you've written in your message.

When you book a session. Booking is handled through Square. When you schedule an appointment, Square collects the information needed to create your appointment and process payment. Square has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle that information, available at squareup.com/legal/privacy.

During in-person sessions. Before your first session, we ask about your health history, current concerns, medications, and goals for care. During and after sessions, we keep brief written notes about the work we did and your response to it. This is standard practice for any licensed bodywork professional and helps us provide continuity of care across visits.

Automatically, when you use the site. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information when you visit — your general location, the type of device and browser you're using, which pages you viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This is handled through standard website analytics and is used to understand how the site is being used, not to identify you personally.

How We Use What We Collect

We use the information you share to:

Schedule and prepare for your appointments

Lisa Maze, your practitioner
Square, which processes appointments and payments
Wix, which hosts this website and any contact form submissions
Our email provider, which handles correspondence through support@solhealthcoach.co
Government authorities or courts, only when required by law (for example, in response to a valid subpoena)

Each of these service providers has its own security standards and privacy practices.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. Payment information is handled entirely by Square and is never stored on our website or in our records — we don't see your card number. Physical session notes and intake forms are stored securely at the practice. Digital records are kept on password-protected systems.

No system is perfect, and no one can promise absolute security. But we take this seriously and handle your information with the care we'd want for our own.

A Note on Health Information

Massage therapy, holistic health coaching, and the other services offered here are wellness services, not insurance-billed medical care. That means we are not a HIPAA-covered entity in most cases. Even so, we treat health information you share with the confidentiality you would expect from any healthcare relationship. Session notes and intake forms are not shared with anyone — including family members — without your explicit written permission, except where required by law.

Your Choices

You can:

Ask what we have. Email or call and we'll tell you what information we have on file.
Ask us to correct it. If anything we have is wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.
Ask us to delete it. You can request deletion of your records, subject to any record-keeping we're legally required to maintain as a licensed practice.
Opt out of communications. Any non-essential emails will include an unsubscribe link. You can also call or email to be removed from any list.

Cookies and Tracking

This website uses standard cookies — small text files that help the site function and help us understand how it's being used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Children

This practice serves adults. The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
